Wii Fun

Our family has gotten two new Wii games that we are loving....so I thought I would share. I always like to know if a game is fun before buying it since they are 30-50 bucks! We have been spending a lot of time playint Wii fit, and Wii Outdoor Adventures. I would recommend both of these....I admit my abs were sore today after Wii fit...I think it was the Hula Hooping...yes I said Hula Hooping! I will try to add some photos tomorrow! Just thought I would share our new favorite past time!

GO WYO

Kids playing their Nintendo DS

Our family went to Casper last weekend for the Cowboy Shoot-out! It was fun and our kids were troopers! We left Lovell at 7:00 am and drove to Casper. We made it down in good time and only had to stop once to potty and get treats! That is a feat in itself. We had nice weather. It was 43 degrees when we arrived, although Craig's mom and dad called several times to say it was -22 below zero at home! BBRRR. We bragged how nice it was in Casper. We ate lunch and then headed to the event center. We were ready to cheer on the Cowgirls, especially our home-town gal...Kristen Scheffler. A few of us at work had some Brown Wyoming shirts made (Courteous of Craig) with Scheffler #12 on the back. It was so fun to see someone from Lovell playing and doing so great! My kids gave her a hug after the game and we are so proud of her! Both Wyo Teams won! We then stayed for the men's game and ended up leaving with about 6 minutes to go because of the Winter Storm. Needless to say it was not a fun trip to Douglas to see Craig's grandparents....we did make it safe and sound but I hate WINTER DRIVING! or STORM DRIVING! I thought we would be snowed in but the next morning came and off we went. We made it home in pretty good time with fairly good roads. Luckily our kids got an early xmas present...it kept them occupied during the games! Thanks papa for the Nintendo DS and Leapsters! We wish WYO games were closer because we would attend more frequently. We will hit some when we can! GO WYO!

Steven Craig

I continue to see different husband tags and I am inspired to share some info on mine!

1. Where did you meet your husband? Lovell High School. He is a year younger than I am.

2. How long did you date? We dated for a few months my senior year but he was always the one I wanted a second chance with....luckily we got that chance and dated for a year before we got married.

3. How long have you been married? 11 years in March! WOW!

4. What does he do that surprises you? Not a lot! His mom raised him to be a gentleman and that he is! He will occasionally surprise me by completing a household chore(s) without hints!

5. What is your favorite feature of his? His arms. I love how strong he is. He makes me feel safe and keeps me warm

6. What is his best quality? His temper. He rarely loses his temper with anyone or anything. In fact he has been coaching the last two years and people have asked me if he ever yells!

7. Does he have a nick name for you? TRTL! He woke up in the middle of the night after Caitlyn was born while I was feeding her. He was trying to stay awake with me but then still go to work and do his duty. He awoke and said "TURTLE that is your name...I was confused and said "What?" He replied "Turtle that is your name....Tashie Renae Terry Lundberg....TRTL...Turtle. It has stuck since then! (I just thought he was sleep deprived)

8. What is his favorite food? Polish Sausage and sour kraut or steak and potatoes

9. What is his favorite sport? Basketball

10. When and where was your first kiss? On my front porch my senior year after watching Maverick in Powell with Ty and Tawnya.

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Hang out! Watch movies, go to dinner, play Rock Band (Our band LTown rocks!)

14. How old is he? 31

15. Who said I love you first? I think he did! But I am sure I said it right back.

16. His favorite music? He loves all music. He listens to every kind you can imagine. He is always listening to music or watching music videos.

17. What do you admire most about him? I admire the fact that he does all he can to support his family. He had the desire to coach so will wake up at the butt crack of dawn just to get in enough hours at work to coach and still support our family. I also admire the big kid in him! And that he can still do the WORM!

18. What is his favorite color? Blue

19. Will he read this? I hope so!

5 Things He Loves: Family, Gadgets, Basketball, History, Down-Time

5Things on His To-Do List: Clean up under the deck, fix the installation in the garage, take all of his borrowed items from his dad back, kill spiders for me, and help me stay motivated to work out and eat better!

5 things you may not know about him: He hates grasshoppers, He loves Ranch Dressing (on way too much food if you ask me), he gives the best back rubs and foot rubs. He likes chick-flicks, he loves the Philadelphia Eagles and Donovan McNabb.

5 quirky things about him: He will dye my hair for me, he made the best Cherry Chocolate Cake, he doesn't like to shut drawers all the way (don't ask me why...he is getting better), he REALLY doesn't like public restrooms (who does but when you gotta go you gotta go!), and he will let his children paint his nails or do his hair with beautiful additions (he is a great dad and husband).

Christmas Program

The kids had their Christmas Program Tuesday at the Hyart. As usual it was packed and we ended up in the balcony, but it worked out perfect as we were in the front row on the side and there was way more leg room (for craig...I don't care...i'm short) and just the right amount of chairs. Although Carter and his friend liked looking over the edge and giving the moms heart attacks hoping they wouldn't fall off the balcony! Anyways, the kids did great! Brenden belted it out and looked handsome as ever. Adessa did great for her first School program...she was all business. Caitlyn helped by playing her recorder and did a fabulous job! I never knew you could actually play recorders like that, we always just messed around and made our parents crazy! Here is a few pictures of the most beautiful girls and handsome boy! The boy next to dess said "You are beautiful!" fun..fun. Has anyone developed a shot to make your kids stop growing and changing? If so I am in need of it! Happy programs! One down and a few to go!

Daddy....

Here one of the cutest requests made from one of the cutest boys to his daddy...

Scenario: We had just finished dinner and Carter was wanting to play the computer but couldn't get it to work. Here is what he said "Daddy I need help. I'm only a little brother 3" (while holding up three fingers to indicate he is 3 years old)

Needless to say....daddy helped him. He loves to play Starfall.com Check it out it is a fun website for kids. Where did my little boy go? Everyday he is using more and more complex language and says things I didn't even know he knew. Time Flies!

Family Fun

We had a great thanksgiving! BJ and Andrea came from Colorado along with my sister's son Robbie. Tracy, Marc, and Family also were around, and of course Grandma Kerry. We had a good time. We played Tripoley, Wii, and played in the annual Turkey Volleyball Tourney. A fun time was had by all. We learned that Mario Kart on the Wii is a lot harder than X-box (at least for Andrea and I) we came in last every time. We opened up some new songs on Rock Band, and placed third in the tourney. Thanks everyone for playing (Schneider's too). I wish we could spend more time with our families! Life gets crazy and it seems like all you have time for is your own family. We try and make time for our friends and family because we know it is important. I hope you all know how blessed we are to have you in our lives. We enjoy visits, emails, pictures, call, etc. Have a great Holiday Season TOGETHER!

Rudolph

We were looking through a magazine and found this fun snack,(toast w/pb) so for family night we decided to make them. The kids had a fun time, I love how they each made it their own. The antlers were suppose to be the regular pretzels but all we had were sticks so it worked! My kids loved the noses! They ate several extra. It was a fun treat and the perfect season for it!
